Thai Yoga Massage (TYM), with its origins in the temples of Thailand, was developed several thousand years ago, has had many influences since then and today consists of four essential aspects:
It forms the basis for “Nuad”, the healing touch.
Static or dynamic methods such as acupressure, pressure and kneading techniques, pulling and lifting movements as well as contraction and stretching are used on almost all areas of the body. This releases muscle tension, mobilizes joints, strengthens breathing and posture, stimulates the nervous system to relax, promotes blood circulation and keeps energy flows flowing.
The Thai yoga massage also offers you the opportunity to practice self-love, practice the art of letting go, experience yourself in your body in a new way, activate your inner healing powers, and experience moving meditation.
In many Eastern traditions, not only the physical body is part of the human being, but also various other body levels, such as the emotional and the psychological or mental body. Only when all levels are in balance with one another can one speak of holistic health.
While we in the West often only go to the doctor when we are already sick, most people from Eastern cultures take care of their health in advance.
This includes a good environment, regular exercise, a healthy diet and regular massages are also common.
Disease prevention has a lot to do with health and maintaining it. That's why my recommendation is to develop a routine that ensures that you feel good and stay healthy.
Receiving a massage every month is a good benchmark for working preventatively and therapeutically. Massage should not be viewed as a solution to problems. It can be seen as a precursor to solving problems. A tense body is often just the symptom with which the physical body indicates an imbalance in the entire organism.
My TYM treatments do not promise any cure for chronic conditions.
Please make sure you consult your trusted doctor in advance.
